PRESCRIPTIONS AND ONLINE SERVICES
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS ARE AUTHORISED BY THE DOCTOR, AND MEAN YOU CAN REQUEST A LIMITED NUMBER OF PRESCRIPTIONS WITHOUT FURTHER CONSULTATIONS. YOU CAN REQUEST A PRESCRIPTION ON-LINE, IN PERSON, BY POST OR BY TELEPHONE.
WE HAVE A DEDICATED NUMBER FOR REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS. THE NUMBER IS 01643 703441, OPTION 2. THIS NUMBER IS AVAILABLE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 09:00 AND 12:00 ON WEEKDAYS.
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS CAN ALSO BE REQUESTED BY EMAILING SOMCCG.MMCPRESCRIPTIONS@NHS.NET. THIS EMAIL IS FOR non-urgent REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS ONLY. IF YOUR MEDICATION REQUEST IS URGENT PLEASE CONTACT OUR PRESCRIPTION LINE.
PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH WITH YOUR REQUEST. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT REQUESTS FOR “ALL REPEATS” OR REQUESTS WITH LIMITED INFORMATION ARE LIKELY TO RESULT IN A DELAY IN THE PROCESSING OF MEDICATION. IN SUCH INSTANCES, STAFF WILL NEED TO CONTACT YOU TO DISCUSS YOUR EXACT REQUIREMENTS.

TO ORDER your medication ONLINE we recommend using the nhs app or PATIENT ACCESS. the nhs app will also display your covid-19 vaccination status
The NHS App is now live with your COVID-19 certificate to show you’ve been vaccinated, many countries will require proof of this to allow you to enter. We anticipate this to be widely needed for travel.

It only takes a couple of minutes to set up, ideally you should have a form of ID & your NHS number to hand – https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/find-nhs-number/ can help you find your NHS Number.
you can register on the nhs app without needing codes from the surgery. codes can still be obtained from the surgery if you are not able to complete the registration process.
The NHS App can also be used to order your repeat prescriptions.

Please include your name and date of birth with your request. Please be advised that requests for “all repeats” or requests with limited information are likely to result in a delay in the processing of medication. In such instances, staff will need to contact you to discuss your exact requirements.
